A Dutch national and CEO of Proactive Engineeeing Soultions with 45 years of distinguished experience in power and steam systems. He is an expert in thermal and mechanical design including boilers, feedwater systems, and power plant operations, with a proven track record in engineering management, project execution, and business development. He has held key leadership roles at Stork, Bronswerk, and Standard Fasel, driving engineering and sales initiatives across sugar, textile, refinery, cement, and fertilizer sectors. His extensive experience spans global projects, delivering innovative solutions and optimizing performance in complex industrial environments.Â

With over 25 years of international project execution experience, the Managing Director of Proactive Engineering brings unmatched expertise in delivering world-class engineering and automation solutions across multiple countries. This leadership has elevated Proactive Engineering into a trusted name within the power, industrial, and control systems sectors. Specialization includes Electrical, Instrumentation & Control (DCS, PLC) System Design and Development, Implementation and Commissioning for modern power plants, all categories of industrial boilers, high-performance steam and gas turbines, complete auxiliary and balance-of-plant systems. Under his strategic direction, Proactive Engineering has successfully executed numerous multinational and mission-critical projects, consistently demonstrating reliability, innovation and technical excellence. The focus remains clear: Deliver engineering solutions that exceed expectations and set new industry benchmarks.
Stuart Ryan - Director
Stuart Ryan, a US National, Owner and Founder of Rydout LLC, has two decades of experience developing, buying, selling and managing electricity and energy businesses in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. Prior to forming Rydout, Stuart was COO and Executive Vice President of AES Corp, where he served for over 15 years. Under his astute leadership over 10,000 MW of power were added to AES’s portfolio.
Dennis Bakke - Director
Dennis Bakke, a US National, He was Co-Founder President and CEO of the AES Corporation (AES). He was president and CEO of the company from 1994 to 2002. AES was formed in 1981 to generate and sell electricity. AES has grown into a leading global power company with business in over 30 countries, $40 billion in assets, revenue of over $10 billion per year, and 30,000 employees. Corporate headquarters are in Arlington, VA.
Dennis is currently the President and CEO of Imagine Schools, an education service provider for K-12 public charter and independent schools nationwide.
